Project description:

The consortium members aim to contribute to addressing current labour market challenges affecting the tourism and hospitality sector through the implementation of a thematic project. The project focuses on topics that contribute to improving employability, adaptability, productivity, and competitiveness in the long term. Its primary objective is to ensure the availability of the workforce required by the tourism and hospitality sector by improving the alignment between labour supply and demand.

The programme aimed to support the integration of workforce released from other sectors by analysing the labour market situation of the tourism and hospitality industry, developing a methodology, and testing this methodology through a pilot project.

The project is based on the development of existing skills. As a result, a proportion of the target group members participating in professional and employee skills and competence development activities can be successfully integrated into the tourism and hospitality sector, thereby mitigating the negative impacts of current labour market challenges.

Location of implementation:
The six less developed regions of Hungary: Northern Hungary, Northern Great Plain, Southern Great Plain, Central Transdanubia, Western Transdanubia, and Southern Transdanubia.
