Lead beneficiary and consortium coordinator:
Hungarian Hospitality Employers' Association (VIMOSZ) – HUF 1.214 billion
Consortium partners:
The project provides a comprehensive support framework for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the tourism sector. It focuses on the development of digital infrastructure, professional and methodological support, and the transfer of international best practices. The primary target group consists of rural SMEs in the tourism and hospitality industry, a segment that is extensively represented and reached by VIMOSZ and its consortium partners.
As part of the project, a supportive digital infrastructure will be established based on the needs of businesses, providing cost-effective digital tools and services tailored to SMEs. Through the establishment of regional competence centres, training programmes, workshops, software solutions, and personalised expert consultancy, the project aims to strengthen SMEs’ digital capabilities, promote community building, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
The professional organisations forming the DigitalTourBoost consortium, together with the participating sectoral partners, ensure the project's broad professional expertise and enable a thorough assessment of the target group's needs. The active involvement of key ecosystem stakeholders—including Hungarian professional organisations, digital service providers, and international partners from Spain, Italy, and Portugal—will ensure that the project's developments are market-oriented, innovative, and sustainable in the long term.
