Our Association held its annual opening Steering Committee meeting on 3 February 2026 at Gerbeaud Café. During the meeting, we discussed the most important tasks and priorities for the coming year, provided updates on the progress of our national and European Union-funded projects, and reported on our key current activities.
The agenda included a discussion of the 5+1 Action Plan and the 12+1 Tourism Development Plan, as well as the clarification of related issues. The participants supported the letter prepared by the Hungarian Catering Industry Association (MVI) and addressed to the Ministry, proposing the extension of the governmental 5+1 Action Plan. VIMOSZ will establish a working group to further discuss possible clarifications and potential amendments to the relevant regulations.
During the meeting, Gusztáv Láving, CEO of the Kisfaludy Tourism Credit Centre, presented the loan opportunities available through KTH.
